Tro Manufacturing Company
Tro Manufacturing Company, Incorporated was founded in 1964, and will celebrate it's 37th anniversary in 2001.
Tro was founded by Laddie A. Sanda Sr. as a Tool and Die Shop. A contract to produce Ogives for The United States Military turned our focus from machining to stamping.
From this beginning over 3 decades ago, Tro has grown into an industry leader in progressive, deep draw, and transfer press technology. With cutting edge technology in the form of 250, 300, and 600 ton 3-axis computer controlled servo-motor transfer presses, Tro has enabled its' customers to realize cost and quality gains never before possible in the industry.
Tro's philosophy of "Do It Right The First Time", coupled with a total commitment to quality is demonstrated in every phase of our operation. Tro Manufacturing is both QS 9000 and ISO 9002 certified.
Tro also has an extensive Engineering capability, with three full time Engineers, all of whom come from a tooling and manufacturing background. Our Engineering department is expert at "value engineering" or "engineering cost reductions". Due to our advanced engineering, design and manufacturing capabilities out customers have been able to realize consistent cost reductions and quality improvements.
Tro's structure and size allow Production, Quality Control, Shipping, Engineering and Management to work closely together to ensure continuity of production and development. Problems, Customer requests, data, etc. do not float around in some bureaucratic "hold file", instead, they are addressed immediately.
Tro's major market is automotive related, but we do work for the marine, electronics, railroad and appliance markets as well. Our customers include: American, German, Japanese, Mexican and Brazilian automotive tier 1, 2 and 3 suppliers, Marine OE and tier 1, and appliance/vending OE's.
Tro is conveniently located within 15 minutes of Chicago's O'hare airport, and is housed in a 70,000 square foot, modern building.
